Positive: The house is beautiful and the host has good taste. On our first day, firewood was thoughtfully prepared in the fireplace ready for immediate use. All facilities are well maintained, except the shower room on the ground floor which has no curtain, so we didn’t dare to use it. We enjoyed the snow mountain view right outside the window.

Negative: The Booking page showed breakfast for only NZD 0.10 per person, almost free of charge, but the actual situation was different after we booked. We were also unable to enjoy the dining service by a five-star chef, which apparently requires booking far in advance. Even though we enquired six days ahead, it still hard to be arranged. The yard looks spacious, but there is very limited usable space for guests to actually enjoy.

Summary: The real experience is not as nice as what is presented on Booking.
